Building a stronger future together. A new era for Healthcare Procurement
The Procurement in Health for Uncertain Times conference took place in Madrid on May 20–21, 2025, as a joint initiative of the Procure4Health and PROCURE projects—both dedicated to improving healthcare procurement across Europe. The event fostered dialogue around innovative solutions, public-private collaboration, and key challenges in resource management, health technology, and sustainability. Partners shared lessons from the past three years, highlighting a common takeaway: the power of community and collaboration.

PROCURE's Strategic Framework

The Strategic Framework is a guiding structure developed within the PROCURE project to strengthen how healthcare procurement is managed across Europe. It brings together research, expert knowledge, and collaborative analysis to identify priorities and shape practical improvements. In this phase, the project focused on turning insights from an extensive Observational Study and a Delphi expert consultation across 10 EU Member States into actionable strategies. These strategies address critical focus areas and provide clear guidance to support more resilient, efficient, and sustainable procurement systems in European healthcare.
